About the vacancy:

We are seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure. This is a role focused on cloud organizational management and enablement — we build and maintain the underlying platforms that our engineering squads rely on to build, run, and scale their products. The matching candidate will be responsible for providing secure, standardized and self-service cloud environments — including account structures, shared tooling, and governance guardrails — that empower teams to move fast without compromising reliability or security.

As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, we need you to:
  • Design, provision, and manage cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Build and maintain automated workflows for infrastructure and application deployment.
  • Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using preferably GitHub Actions, Jenkins or similar tools.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudTrail).
  • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and Cloud issues.
  • Manage and configure DNS records, zones, TTLs, and routing policies across providers such as Cloudflare, AWS Route 53, or similar platforms to ensure reliable, low-latency name resolution.
  • Deploy and maintain CDN configurations using platforms such as Cloudflare, Akamai, or CDNetworks to optimize content delivery, reduce origin load, and improve global performance.
  • Configure CDN caching rules, cache purging strategies, and cache-control headers to balance freshness and performance across static and dynamic assets.
  • Implement and manage Web Application Firewall (WAF) rules, DDoS protection policies, and bot mitigation settings within CDN platforms such as Cloudflare or Akamai.
  • Manage SSL/TLS certificate provisioning, renewal, and enforcement across CDN edges and DNS-managed domains to maintain end-to-end encryption.
  • Automate DNS and CDN configuration changes via APIs or IaC tooling (e.g., Terraform Cloudflare/Akamai provider) to enforce consistency and enable version-controlled edge configuration.
  • Apply security best practices, manage secrets, and implement compliance frameworks (e.g., OWASP, CIS).
  • Collaborate with security teams to enforce policies and harden systems.
  • Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to improve workflows and developer experience.
  • Contribute to internal tooling that enhances productivity and platform reliability.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud spend using tools such as AWS Cost Explorer or third-party FinOps platforms.
  • Identify and implement rightsizing, reserved instance, and savings plan strategies to optimize infrastructure costs.
  • Design and maintain backup, failover, and disaster recovery strategies to meet defined RTO and RPO targets.
  • Conduct regular DR drills and document runbooks to ensure team readiness during outages.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for infrastructure, runbooks, architectural diagrams, and operational processes.
  • Share knowledge with team members through internal tech talks, wikis, and post-mortem reviews
  • As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, we need you to have:
